now that i have 3 day weekends, i can explore a little further and last weekend i did a trip along the great ocean road and then up to little desert. some beautiful spring weather and healthy looking mallee scrub made it quite a beautiful time.

took a short trip across to the grampians last weekend. weather was beautiful and the views spectacular!
in late september i took an amazing trip up to see lake eyre in flood. on the way i went through the stunning flinders ranges and afterwords, went on to see uluru, the olgas, the west macdonnell ranges, alice springs, tenant creek, mt isa, longreach and bourke. i was hoping to get to birdsville but the roads were closed. oh well... next time! 9,000km in 2 1/2 weeks and it was awe inspiring!
